Our last few days

Congues is an interesting town but because of the heavy tourist load it was expensive - none the less we found a gite at E12 each per night. We had to arrange weefee for our emails so spent sometime in either the Hotel or the Tourist Office. My blisters are well under control now but were a problem for some days - the specialised cover pads they sell lasted about 3days and seemed to improve healing despite continued walking.
The voluntary wayside stop gave us a cup of coffee and enjoyed out banter about Australia - the two sitting next to Tim are fellow "Pilgrim" walkers.
Today we have arrived in Figeac -staying in the middle of town in a good gite at E20 each. To this point have covered 250 Kms in 12 days walking. Consistent rain for most of yesterday and today with temp around 18C and fluctuating up.
Off for restaurant dinner,
Geoff
