Moissac

We got caught out on Friday because of the Ascension Thursday holiday in France. Workers
did what we do in Australia. They took four days off and headed for the resorts. We were walking
Into Lauzerte and they beat us by car in their droves. They took all the accommodation and filled
The town square. Lauzerte is perched on top of a high hill. It was not good to get to the top to
receive bad news.
We walked on 12 k. to Durfort Lacapelette where we found a poor quality gite. The others there
French . One of them was Mark from Quebec who interpreted all night. We  had met him on previous
occasions.  We had a good time together eating food prepared by the group bought from the
supermarket.
We are now in the tourist city of Moissac which is best known for the UNESCO listed cloisters at
It's church - see photo. We saw them earlier today. Tomorrow we walk 21k. to Auvillar after our day off today for R & R.
Cheers to all,
Tim
