A friend for Lucy and Pippy

We are in a communal gite tonight with about 50 pilgrims and hangers-on. The communal dinner involved about 25 people and started with a song / prayer. I sat next to a young couple with Colan - about 2 years old. He insisted in kissing me goodnight before he left!

I was opposite an Avignon woman who starts her walk tomorrow - completing the whole thing after doing this last bit to St.Jean Pied de Port. With singing in the air I asked her about the  " sur la Pont d'Avignon " and within several minutes they were singing heartily!!

Quite an unexpected bonus to the day.
